Principle
This website is built around data minimisation. Only data required for operation, security and the actions you initiate is processed.
Fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are served from our own server. Third-party content — maps, videos, social media widgets — is not embedded.
Purposes of processing and disclosure to third parties
Your personal data is processed solely for the purposes set out in this policy. It is not transferred for any other purpose.
Data is disclosed to third parties only where:
- you have given your explicit consent,
- disclosure is necessary to perform a contract with you,
- there is a legal obligation to do so,
- disclosure is necessary to protect legitimate interests and no overriding interest of yours prevents it.
Hosting and server logs
The website runs on servers of a hosting provider based in Germany.
With every request the server automatically records the data your browser transmits: the address requested, date and time, volume of data transferred, status message, browser type and version, operating system, referring page and IP address.
These logs serve secure and stable operation. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — the legitimate interest in technically faultless delivery. The data is not combined with other sources. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.
SSL encryption
To protect your data in transit, encryption in line with the current state of the art is used over HTTPS.
Cookies
Without your consent this website sets no cookies. All that is stored is your decision about audience measurement, kept in your browser’s local storage. That storage is strictly necessary to act on your choice and to avoid asking you again on every visit; the legal basis is § 25 (2) TDDDG. The value is not transmitted and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings.
Cookies used for analytics and audience measurement are set only with your consent. You may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, and you can delete cookies or block them entirely in your browser settings.
Audience measurement with Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of how the website is used.
IP anonymisation is enabled: your IP address is truncated within the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server and truncated there. It is not combined with other Google data.
The purpose is to evaluate use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. You may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

The usage data collected is deleted automatically by Google after 14 months.
Links to external services
No third-party content is embedded: no maps, no videos, no social media widgets.
The website does link to external services such as social networks, results databases and the fundraising platform. Only when you click such a link does the provider concerned receive data from you. We have no influence over that processing; their privacy policy applies.
Retention, erasure and blocking
Personal data is stored only for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated, or as required by statutory retention periods.
Once the purpose ceases to apply or those periods expire, the data is routinely erased or blocked in accordance with statutory provisions. Server logs are retained only briefly and then deleted.
